Job summary

Hudson Hospital is seeking a reliable Nutrition Aide to support patient meal service, ensuring meals meet dietary needs and upholding safety and sanitation standards.

You will prepare cold items, deliver meals, assist with menu selections, store supplies, and complete cleaning and records to maintain a compliant food service environment.

Shifts run 5:30am–7pm, including day, evening and weekend schedules; casual/per diem options provide flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble cold food items for patient meals per dietary requirements.

Hudson Hospital is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Nutrition Aide to provide exceptional food service support to patients, visitors, and staff. In this role, you will help ensure patients receive meals that meet their dietary needs while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and customer service. This position is responsible for:

• Preparing and assembling cold food items for patient meals in accordance with prescribed dietary requirements.
• Delivering patient meals accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
• Assisting patients with menu selections that met physician-ordered diets and established nutrition guidelines.
• Receiving, storing, and organizing food products and supplies following food safety and sanitation standards.
• Completing assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a safe and compliant food service environment.
• Maintaining accurate records and logs for patient meals, catered events, guest meals, complimentary meals, and café transactions.
• Supporting daily food service operations while ensuring compliance with healthcare, safety, and quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

FTE: 0.0; Casual/Per Diem

Work Schedule: Shift schedule between 530am-7pm; Day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
