Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a Dietary Aide to assist in meal service for patients, visitors, and staff. The role emphasizes customer service, accurate portioning, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards in a hospital dining setting. Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays are required.

The position involves preparing meals, stocking, sanitation, and assisting with daily cleaning plans while maintaining patient and staff satisfaction and safety in mind.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work weekends and five of six holidays; rotating shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Provides customer service functions in dining/food service.
• Takes and prepares orders according to portion and presentation guidelines.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas and dining rooms; follows sanitation procedures.
• Operates food service equipment and cash register as assigned.
• Adheres to HACCP, HIPAA, and food safety regulations.
