Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Food Service Team Member to serve patients, guests, and families in the SJHN/BayCare food and nutrition services environment. The role emphasizes safe food handling, patient tray delivery, and coordination with hospital staff.

Qualified candidates will have 1 year of food service experience, 1 year in a coordinator/lead role, and a valid HS Diploma or GED (ServSafe within 1 year preferred). This is a full-time, on-site position at St Josephs North.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers; maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment.
• May prepare food or drinks, assemble and deliver patient trays or catering events.
• Receive and store food and supplies using FIFO; perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas.
• Act as a liaison between patients, guests, physicians, hospital personnel and Food and Nutrition Services.
