Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a dedicated Food Service Team Member to support patients, families and staff with friendly, accurate service in our hospital dining operations.

Responsibilities include serving meals, delivering patient trays, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, handling deliveries, and coordinating with clinical staff. A HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year in food service or supervision are required; ServSafe certification within 1 year is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of Food Services experience.
• 1 year in Coordinator/Lead/Supervisor role.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers and deliver patient trays.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment; receive and store deliveries using FIFO principles.
• Liaise between patients, guests, physicians and hospital staff in Food and Nutrition Services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers. Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment. May prepare food or drink items, assemble and deliver patient trays or catering events and perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas. Receive and store food and supply deliveries using FIFO principles. Act as a liaison between, patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel and Food and Nutrition Services. Perform other duties as assigned.
