Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Hospital food service experience preferred.
• Able to read, write and understand English; legible handwriting.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills.

Responsibilities

• FOOD PREPARATION - Completes assigned food preparation duties using basic utensils to prepare sandwiches, salads, fruits and desserts for patients.
• PATIENT TRAY ASSEMBLY - Sets up tray line, assembles items, ensures correct items and temperatures.
• PATIENT FOOD TRUCK DELIVERY - Transport trays and supplies between units following procedures.
• PATIENT FOOD SERVICE - Delivers meals, greets patients, verifies name bands and answers questions.
• TRAY PICK UP - Retrieves dirty trays and ensures all are collected.
• NOURISHMENTS - Delivers between-meal snacks and nourishments with accuracy.
• SANITATION AND PERSONAL HYGIENE - Follows sanitation guidelines and maintains a clean work area.
