Yale New Haven Health in New Haven, CT, is seeking a Hospital Food Service Worker to support patient meals and nourishment deliveries. You will perform routine food preparation, tray assembly, and food service duties at assigned stations, ensuring accuracy and safety standards throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Understanding of basic dietary principles preferred.
• Hospital food service experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Food preparation and assembly of patient meals following safety standards.
• Set up patient tray lines and ensure items match meal tickets.
• Deliver trays to patient rooms and assist with nourishment deliveries.
• Assist with tray pickup and transportation between units.
• Maintain sanitation and clean work areas according to policy.
• Provide courteous patient service and respond to questions.
• Report issues affecting patient care or satisfaction.
