Job summary

UCLA Health in Los Angeles seeks a Food Service Worker to support patient meal service. You will prepare and maintain tray assembly stations, assemble and distribute meals, and ensure accurate dietary adherence with courteous patient interactions.

You'll also collect and transport meal trays, assist in various food service areas, and adapt to different duties across tray stations while upholding sanitation and safety standards in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain tray assembly stations.
• Assemble and distribute patient meals.
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Assist patients with menu selections.
• Deliver meals and snacks according to established dietary guidelines.
• Collect and transport meal trays and food carts.
• Assist in the dishroom, potroom, and housekeeping duties as needed.
• Work across all assigned tray assembly stations and adapt to various Food and Nutrition Services duties.
