Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a casual Food Service Aide to support meal preparation and delivery for patients, cafeteria, and catering services at our Faribault location. This role uses proper cooking, cooling and reheating techniques to ensure food safety and quality.

The position supports a day/evening shift with occasional weekends, and may involve operating a cash register and stocking during service. Prior food service experience is helpful, and minimum age is 16.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• 0–2 years in food service or sanitation standards preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and set-up of food for patients, cafeteria, catering and others.
• Follow cycle menus, modified menus and standardized recipes.
• Assemble patient food trays according to dietary needs.
• Deliver and retrieve patient food trays and restock during service.
• Operate cash register when needed.
