Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Food and Nutrition Representative to operate meal carts, assemble trays, and deliver patient meals with accuracy and care. You will work with nursing and dietary staff to ensure diet orders are followed and patient satisfaction is achieved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in food service / customer service.
• Fluent reading, writing, and spoken English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and transport meal carts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble meal service cart and companion cart matching menu and diet orders.
• Maintain food safety by monitoring temperatures and safe handling.
• Transport carts to patient units within scheduled times and document activities.
• Greet patients, assist with menu choices, and convey diet information to dietary staff.
• Record patient diet information and maintain accurate office and dispatch logs.
• Provide clerical support and ensure timely delivery of meals to patients.
• Conduct patient satisfaction surveys and relay feedback to management.
