Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) seeks a Food and Nutrition Representative to support patient meal service. You will assemble meal trays, operate Retherm carts, ensure diet accuracy and deliver meals to patient rooms with care and professionalism.

Role requires at least two years in food service or customer service, fluency in English, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. On-site schedule includes day/evening and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum two years' experience in food service or customer service.
• Patient feeding experience with all age groups preferred.
• Must read, write and communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and transport carts for meal service.

Responsibilities

• Assemble meal service cart and companion cart with items to match diet orders.
• Program and operate cart to refrigerate, heat and hold temperatures.
• Deliver meal trays to patient rooms and ensure patient satisfaction.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of carts, utensils and meal areas.
• Record temperatures and assist with inventory and order accuracy.
