Job summary

Mille Lacs Health System on the Onamia MN campus is seeking a Food Service Worker to provide meals and snacks to patients, residents, staff and visitors in compliance with regulations and Nutrition Services policies. The role includes serving meals, maintaining food safety, assisting with event catering, dishwashing, and stock delivery.

The ideal candidate has health care industry experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and snacks to patients, residents, staff and visitors.
• Ensure portion control, temperature, and presentation meet standards.
• Assist with meal service and catering events as assigned.
• Operate dish machine and sanitize equipment.
• May run the cash register and assist with stocking and delivery as needed.
• Maintain a neat, sanitary work area and follow cleaning procedures.
