Job summary

Mille Lacs Health System in Onamia, MN is seeking a Food Service Worker to serve meals and snacks to patients, residents, staff and visitors in accordance with regulations and MLHS policies.

Responsibilities include portion control, safe handling, assisting with meal service, operating the dish machine, cleaning and sanitizing, and supporting catering events or cash register duties as needed. Healthstream training is required.

Qualifications

• Health care industry experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and snacks to patients, residents, staff and visitors according to diet extensions and standards.
• Ensures portion control, temperature and appearance meet standards; assists with meal service as assigned.
• Operates dish machine; cleans and sanitizes dishes and delivery equipment; maintains neat work area.
• Follows cleaning procedures and timelines; may set up, serve and clean up special catering events.
• May run cash register; helps put away groceries and delivers snacks per rotation.
• Gathers and delivers requested stock to departments; completes Healthstream training assignments.
