South Shore Health is seeking a part-time Diet Aide for the SSH Nutrition and Food Kitchen in Weymouth, MA. The role supports meal preparation, serving, and clean-up while following strict food handling and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 16 years or older at the time of filing an application.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate routine information in English.
• Perform simple arithmetic functions.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning of kitchen equipment using cleaning machines and maintains clean pots/utensils.
• Keeps assigned kitchen area organized and clean.
• Assists tray line department with loading and transportation of food trucks during meal service.
• Prepares supplies and sets up the tray line area and serves food at assigned station.
• Serves patient meals and retrieves trays/dishes after meal service.
• Performs daily cleaning of food trucks and work areas.
• Follows proper food handling, safety, and personal hygiene guidelines.
