Job summary

Lowell General Hospital is seeking an entry‑level dietary and food services associate to support meal preparation, tray assembly and delivery across our patient and retail operations. You will assist with menu selections, diet orders, food preparation and maintaining sanitary kitchen standards.

The role involves standing most of the day, lifting, and working in a hospital environment with frequent interactions with patients and care teams.

Qualifications

• Food service experience required.
• Ability to follow dietary restrictions and menus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate diet order information and ensures proper meal delivery.
• Assists patients with menu selections and modified diets.
• Delivers patient trays and maintains kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Stocks dietary supplies and ensures proper food handling and storage.
• Operates kitchen utensils and equipment for meal preparation and serving.
