Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate diet order information and ensures appropriate meals.
• Elicits patient food preferences and informs Clinical Dietitian of nutritional concerns.
• Assists with menu selection, diet modification, and tray accuracy for patients.
• Delivers trays to patients and retrieves trays.
• Keeps PPE and hygiene standards in patient units.
• Stocks unit pantries with nourishments and supplies."
• Prepares and assembles meals, including special diets and desserts.
• Operates kitchen utensils and equipment to prepare, weigh, and store food items.
• Maintains sanitation and temperature logs according to regulatory requirements.
