Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred.
• Customer service and/or food service experience preferred, but not necessary.
• On job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, sets, and serves all food with proper temperatures and portions.
• Performs minor food preparation and portioning per policy.
• Gathers items for snacks and breaks and delivers to proper areas.
• Assists in tray assembly and delivers trays to patients.
• Uses two patient identifiers to ensure safety during delivery.
• Double checks tray for accuracy and nutrition order compliance.
• Ensures tray is positioned correctly and checks for missing items.
• Picks up soiled trays and returns them to kitchen for cleaning.
• Maintains food quality and temperature.
