Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Dietary Services assistant to support patient meal preparation and order processing. You will enter diet orders using TDS and Mass Cash POS, coordinate ready-at-time deliveries, and assist patients with menu selections and education.

Responsibilities include updating diet sheets, handling meal changes, and performing daily stocking duties to ensure smooth patient service within a large academic health system.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative or clerical position.
• Strong customer service and communication in English.
• Education or experience in nutrition or dietary requirements.
• Computer skills with financial management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation for patient service and process diet orders in hospital systems.
• Enter tube feeding products and snacks into Mass Cash POS for ready-at-time delivery.
• Assist patients via telephone orders and educate on menu selections.
• Update diet changes for each mealtime and perform daily stocking duties.
