Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems in Georgia seeks a Patient Food Service Associate to support meal delivery from order to tray, ensuring accuracy and compassionate service to patients.

A high school diploma and 1 year of customer service or nutrition services experience is preferred within a large integrated health system.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with food selections and communicate special needs to clinical nutrition staff.
• Assist with tray line preparation tasks.
• Check patient trays for diet orders and ensure meals match orders and tray appearance.
• Prepare patient snacks and express meals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Demonstrate knowledge of therapeutic diets and HACCP standards.
• Follow guidelines for delivering meals and retrieving trays.
• Provide excellent customer relations in all job functions.
