Job summary

Piedmont Cartersville is seeking a patient meal service associate to prepare and deliver meals on assigned units. You will handle menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, and respond to patient dietary requests and needs in coordination with nursing staff.

Strong attention to accuracy and timing is required to ensure physician orders for modified diets are followed. No prior experience is required, but hospital food service preferred; training provided on site.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; six months hospital food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver patient meals on assigned units.
• Handle menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup.
• Communicate patient food issues to nursing staff and department.
• Ensure timing and accuracy of modified diets per physician orders.
