Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; customer service experience required.
• Must be able to interact with patients and families when delivering meals.
• Must be able to communicate with a wide variety of people including patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Delivers, serves, and retrieves food trays/carts following safety and sanitation policies.
• Maintains sanitation ratings and adheres to health standards.
• Stores and distributes food, supplies, and equipment around the hospital.
• Participates in safety and training requirements (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
• Communicates with nursing staff to resolve issues and support meal delivery.
