Atrium Health in Lexington, NC is seeking a Food Service Aide to deliver meals, retrieve carts, stock supplies, and assist nursing staff with courtesy and safety.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation standards to meet Health Department ratings, participating in training, and supporting a cooperative, patient‑centered service team.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays; a high school diploma or GED is preferred, with English literacy and good communication skills.

• Delivers, serves, and retrieves food trays/carts in a courteous, safe, and sanitary manner.
• Maintains sanitation and safety according to Health Department and NSF standards.
• Stores and distributes food, supplies, and equipment around the hospital as needed.
• Communicates with nursing staff and patients to ensure timely meal delivery and issue resolution.
• Works as a team member and supports other Food and Nutrition Services departments.
