The role acts as the face of Nutritional Services at Idaho Falls Community Hospital and Mountain View Hospital, ensuring stations are stocked and patient needs are met.

The position emphasizes patient interaction, accurate meal delivery, and use of iPad language translator for non-English patients.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: High school graduate (or equivalent); Food Handler’s Permit (required within 90 days of employment)

Responsibilities

• Orient and prepare patients for meal service
• Deliver menus to patients and assist with ordering
• Assist patients with ordering meals as needed
• Use iPad language translator to communicate with non-English patients
• Deliver meal trays to patients and ensure timely service
• Stock floor nutrition stations and waiting areas daily
• Participate in ongoing education and training for Nutritional Services
• Attend daily huddle meetings and department meetings
