Job summary

Southern Ohio Medical Center seeks a Nutrition Ambassador to obtain and process patient meal orders efficiently. You will instruct patients on the ordering system, enter orders into the processing system, and serve meals in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two to three years of food service experience preferred.
• Ability to instruct patients and interact professionally with visitors.

Responsibilities

• Instruct patients on the meal ordering system following a script.
• Enter patient meal orders into the established menu processing system.
• Deliver meals and assist patients in placing orders as needed.
• Act as a liaison between Nutrition Services, patients, and nursing staff.
• Uphold quality assurance for the room service program.
