Job summary

101 Southeast Health is looking for a Nutrition & Food Services Patient Ambassador to assist in delivering high-quality food service to patients. The role involves portioning food, communicating with patients, and ensuring they receive their appropriate meals efficiently.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and preferably some customer service experience, along with the stamina to work well in close quarters. This full-time position is vital for patient satisfaction and service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED (Preferred).
• Some training and/or background in customer service preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow spoken and/or written instructions in English.
• Stamina to work well with others in close quarters while meeting tight time schedules.
• Manual dexterity to handle dishes and serve food efficiently.
• Ability to move, transport trays, carts, equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Portion foods for tray services and deliver patient nourishments.
• Communicate with patients, families and nursing staff.
• Obtain menu selections and retrieve patient meal trays.
• Provide individualized assistance and ensure meal presentation.
• Demonstrate professional behavior at all times.
