Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Nutrition Services Associate in Ohio. The role focuses on assembling, preparing, and delivering patient meals with attention to dietary orders and presentation. You will follow hygiene and safety practices and provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.

The schedule includes days/evenings with full-time status (32 hours weekly) and rotating weekends/holidays. Education: high school or GED preferred; on-the-job training provided, and prior food service or

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Previous food industry or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and serves meals according to diet orders, menus and patient/guest specific requirements
• Adheres to hand hygiene and infection control procedures on a consistent basis when interacting with patients and guests
• Areas are restocked as needed to meet department demands
• Performs sanitation for assigned work area in accordance with departmental procedures and health department guidelines
• Ensures cooking and serving equipment is prewashed, washed and sanitized per department procedures
• Other duties as assigned
