Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join the Home Healthcare Intake & Insurance Verification team.

You will be the first point of contact for patients and referral sources, ensuring accurate intake, insurance qualification, and coordination of durable medical equipment and respiratory services. At this location, this role pays $17.75 to $18.25 per hour, with bonus eligibility, and opportunities to grow within a mission-driven home-based care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 1 year of related work experience, particularly in home healthcare, medical billing, or patient intake.
• Experience with insurance verification and reimbursement practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and durable medical equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with office operations including supply monitoring, deposits, and batch reporting.
• Coordinate documentation and service setup for respiratory products and medical equipment.
• Communicate with patients, referral sources, and internal teams to ensure timely service.
• Verify insurance coverage (Medicare, Medicaid, private payers).
• Cover on-call rotations and potential home deliveries.
