Job description

Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on CompassHealth Center whenincrisis – every day, wehelp people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.

About This Role

We are seeking a Patient Intake Coordinator to be our intake scheduling enthusiast and intake specialist. If you are passionate about providing quality customer service to patients, with a heavy emphasis on communication skills, you would be a great fit on our team.You will take great pride in conducting intakes, while simultaneously managing the operational side of intake scheduling, effectiveness, and structure.

Our dedicated operations teams work behind the scenes to bring our shared mission to life. Each department delivers their own set of strengths which empower our clinicians to focus on their expertise, and ultimately perform the meaningful work that we do.

*This position is remote but will require onsite training for 3 to 4 weeks at our Northbrook facility 8:30am to 4:30pm.*

*Hours/Schedule after training: Tuesday - Friday 1:30pm to 9:30pm and Saturday's 12:30 to 8:30pm*

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensuring all Intake appointments are scheduled correctly and utilized to the best possible extent.
  • Moving appointments as they become available.
  • Ensuring patients with higher needs are seen in a timely manner.
  • Assisting patients in scheduling their readmissions into our programs.
  • Assisting the operations team with coordinating admissions.
  • Assisting the clinical team in scheduling appointments.
  • Performing data entry of patient information.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Who You Are:

  • Hold a Bachelor degree (preferred).
  • Have previous administrative, customer service, or scheduling experience.
  • Medical/insurance office experience would be a plus.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes.
  • Are organized and detail-oriented.
  • Enjoy a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Motivated to work remotely.
