Penn Medicine’s Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia seeks a committed Ambassador Hospital Concierge to welcome patients, visitors and families with empathy and efficiency. You will work in Patient and Guest Relations, providing information, wayfinding, and coordination with hospital staff to ensure a seamless and comforting experience.

The role emphasizes high-touch service, collaboration with clinicians and operations, and proactive problem solving to support CMS

Qualifications

• Greet and assist visitors, patients and families promptly.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve concerns and provide high-touch service.
• Assist immobile patients with transportation and mobility needs.
• Provide notary services and assist with hotel, restaurant and public transportation arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcome to every patient, family member or visitor in accordance with Penn Medicine Academy training.
• Initiate greeting and positive interaction with patients, visitors and staff.
• Help manage visitor flow and coordinate outpatient transports for timely arrivals.
• Ensure safety and accessibility, supporting mobility-impaired patients and preventing falls.
• Assist with outside vendors check-in and coordinate paratransit or transportation services.
