Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a PRN Ambassador Hospital Concierge to warmly greet patients, families, and visitors at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. You will provide information and assistance, ensuring a compassionate, efficient experience within the Patient & Guest Relations team.

Responsibilities include guiding mobility needs, coordinating transports, and collaborating with staff to deliver seamless service across departments.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to greet and assist patients and visitors with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Greet and respond to the needs of patients, visitors and families in a timely manner.
• Provide information and assistance in alignment with Penn Medicine Academy scripting.
• Assist immobile patients in getting in/out of vehicles and into/out of wheelchairs safely and courteously.
• Manage visitor flow at entrances to ensure timely arrival for appointments and support wayfinding.
• Coordinate Outpatient Transports and support all patient transportation needs.
• Collaborate with patients, visitors and hospital staff to deliver coordinated and seamless service.
• Assist with taxis, paratransit, and guidance on hotels, restaurants and public transportation.
• Ensure outside vendors check in with Security.
