Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a Patient Server to handle patient food service on assigned units at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Responsibilities include taking menu selections, assembling and delivering trays, and addressing dietary needs under diet orders.

The role supports a caring, patient-centered dining experience and requires a friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication. Full-time and part-time shifts are available with varying hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick-up, and in-between meal delivery.
• Exhibits a friendly, caring attitude to patients when taking menu selections and delivering trays.
• Interacts with nursing staff to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are accurate and meals meet restrictions.
• Maintains accurate patient information on assigned units and adheres to HIPAA policies.
