Job summary

Prime Occupational Medicine is seeking an X-ray technician to deliver high-quality imaging in a patient-centered environment. You will verify orders, position patients, operate radiology equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed across multiple PRIME clinic locations.

The role includes maintaining records, communicating with staff, and assisting in medical assistant duties when imaging is slow. OTA lighting and compliance with OSHA/HIPAA standards are required.

Qualifications

• Must have an active radiology license and/or certification per state requirements.
• Proven experience performing X-ray procedures across varied body parts.
• Ability to move or lift patients and assist during imaging.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and review orders before procedures.
• Position patients and adjust equipment for each exam.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure their safety during scans.
• Maintain accurate logs of procedures and QA records.
• Wipe down equipment and maintain radiology supplies inventory.
