Target Optical in Lecanto, FL is seeking a Part-Time Optometric Technician to deliver exceptional patient service and ensure the highest quality of care. Join a team that helps guests see more clearly and confidently while offering great value.

You will greet guests promptly, explain required paperwork and tests, review prescriptions, assist with contact lens orders, operate the POS, and maintain organized patient records and inventory.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of guest service experience.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Interpersonal, friendly, patient demeanor.
• Sales skills and product knowledge.
• Familiarity with cash registers and computers.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide attentive service.
• Explain eyewear products and required paperwork.
• Review prescriptions accurately and coordinate with Opticians/Doctors.
• Perform pre-examination testing with accuracy.
• Operate POS when required and handle payments.
• Maintain organized patient records and inventory.
• Keep store displays clean and organized.
• Follow safety/regulatory requirements.
