Job summary

St. Luke’s Health - The Woodlands Hospital is seeking a Nutrition Assistant to help deliver high-quality, safe food service to patients and staff.

You will prepare and deliver meal trays, assist with food prep, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food safety compliance while communicating dietary needs to patients. Candidates should have at least one year of food service or customer service experience, TX Food Handler or ServSafe certification within 30 days, and be prepared for cashier or retail

Qualifications

• One year of Food Service or Customer Service experience.
• Food Handler Permit (TX) within 30 days or ServSafe Certification within 30 days.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED at hire; cashier experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and prepare meal trays for patients and staff.
• Assist with food preparation and maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure food safety compliance and monitor temperatures.
• Respond to dietary questions and interact with patients.
• Perform cashiering, serve in the retail area, and other duties as needed.
