Atrium Health in Huntersville, NC seeks a qualified Medical Assistant to support clinical teams in patient care activities, rooming patients, recording vitals, and assisting with procedures. You will follow policies, maintain competency, and ensure accurate lab, medication, and documentation workflows.

Role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; BLS may be required depending on division.

• Proficient use of computer systems and EMR for patient records

Mansioni

• Adheres to MA scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming tasks: vitals, med reconciliation, history, screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures as ordered.
• Performs venipuncture, specimen handling, lab orders, POCT per order.
• Administers meds and vaccines following rights.
• Other duties: refills, authorizations, scheduling, referrals.
• Cross-trained to support other clinic duties as needed.
• Maintains clean work environment and stocked supplies.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate patient care and effective communication.
