Job summary

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking an outstanding Medical Assistant for our Ridgeline location, supporting physicians, PAs, and NPs in examinations and procedures. The role focuses on patient intake, vital signs, EMR documentation, and team collaboration within a busy primary care setting.

Ideal candidates will have a healthcare program graduate, CMA certification preferred, strong computer skills, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of accredited healthcare program (MA/CNA/LPN/EMT) required.
• CMA certification strongly preferred.
• National CMA certification preferred.
• Strong computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
• Some MA experience required.
• Current BLS card required.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and prepares them for visits, records medical history and vital signs.
• Document EMR with allergies, medications, vaccines and social history.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments; perform point-of-care tests as qualified.
• Maintain exam rooms and supplies; ensure clean, safe environments.
• Handle front desk backup tasks as needed: check-in/out and scheduling.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and communicate professionally with patients and staff.
