Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR course within 90 days of employment.
• Intermediate computer skills including data entry and typing.
• Knowledge of instrumentation used in lab point of care testing.
• HIPAA confidentiality and Variety Care policy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients.

Responsibilities

• Complete clinical intake measurements and document in EMR.
• Administer immunizations under provider direction and update EMR.
• Collect patient specimens following established protocols.
• Follow policies to support patient safety and clinic flow.
• Utilize EMR to perform assigned tasks accurately and timely.
• Maintain professional, patient-centered interactions with the team.
• Escalate patient concerns appropriately.
• May float within the clinic to support operations.
• Support psychiatric clinics, including scheduling and liaison with rural staff.
