Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform general facility support tasks such as cleaning, organizing supplies, and assisting with basic maintenance or room setups.
• Strong customer service orientation, including clear communication, professional demeanor, and the ability to interact respectfully with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Reliability and time-management skills, with the ability to follow schedules, prioritize tasks, and respond promptly to service requests.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and move materials or equipment as required, while adhering to safety and ergonomic guidelines.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety and infection control practices, or willingness to learn and follow established protocols.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in environmental services, housekeeping, facilities, or hospital support roles is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain confidentiality in a health care environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness in public and patient areas and assisting with room setups and furniture moves.
• Ensuring supplies and equipment are stocked and organized to support daily operations.
• Transporting materials, handling waste and recycling, and responding to service requests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Following safety and infection control procedures while collaborating with clinical and non-clinical staff.
