Coastal Health is seeking a Front Desk Representative for our Jacksonville Beach Primary Care team. You will greet patients, check them in/out, verify demographics and insurance, schedule appointments, collect copays, and maintain accurate EMR records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous medical office or front desk experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional, friendly, and patient-focused demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check patients in and out for appointments.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and eligibility.
• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments.
• Collect copays, deductibles, and other patient balances.
• Maintain accurate patient information in the EMR.
• Communicate effectively with providers and staff.
• Assist with referrals, records requests, and other tasks.
