Qualifications

• Dental front-office experience preferred and patient-facing skills required.
• Knowledge of PPO dental insurance benefits and patient financial discussions.
• Experience presenting and reviewing treatment plans with patients.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Warm, outgoing, professional personality with strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments to optimize doctor and hygiene calendars.
• Maintaining productive doctor and hygiene schedules and timely follow-ups.
• Reviewing treatment plans and financial arrangements with patients.
• Explaining dental insurance benefits and estimated out-of-pocket costs.
• Following up with patients regarding unscheduled treatment and reminders.
• Answering phones and providing exceptional customer service.
• Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.
• Documenting patient communication and maintaining records in Dentrix.
