Life Care Centers of America is seeking a skilled Cook to prepare and serve meals for patients in a post-acute care setting, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. You will follow established menus, adherence to dietary orders, and maintain clean, sanitary work areas while working as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include timely meal service, proper portioning, and supporting the kitchen's daily operations.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year experience in food preparation preferred.
Experience cooking large quantities.

Prepare and serve meals that are appetizing in taste and appearance.
Knowledgeable of ordered diets as well as food consistency.
Ensure food and supplies for the next meal are readily available.
Serve meals and snacks in a timely manner.
Utilize production tools and recipes provided to prepare meals and snacks.

Assist in the evacuation of patients.
Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
