Qualifications

• Experience coordinating patient flow and bed management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the assignment of patient care beds across the hospital.
• Document bed placement activities in Electronic Tracking System.
• Act as liaison between physicians, patients, families, hospital staff, and outside agencies to promote efficient patient flow.
• Evaluate bed requests for level of care orders and bed assignments.
• Monitor bed status to ensure correct department admissions from outset.
