Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Resolves problems related to patient, visitor, staff, or employee complaints.
• Recommends and participates in solving ongoing problems or trends.
• Escalates bed status changes with Patient Placement.
• Directs EVS team and oversees discharge cleaning assignments.
• Manages room hold and codes with appropriate reasons.
• Ensures staff availability and coverage across shifts.
• Maintains professional telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• De-escalates high-tension situations as needed.
• Monitors dispatching of Patient Placement and personnel status to improve performance.
• Creates and distributes Daily Shift Reports as required.
