You will greet patients, verify information, schedule appointments, assist during exams, and ensure accurate records, with emphasis on multitasking and a professional appearance.

This role is non-exempt, full-time, with benefits including health and dental insurance and a 401(k) plan.

• Previous experience in a medical office or optical setting preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow.
• Verify patient information, insurance, and collect payments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical history and performing preliminary testing.
• Assist the doctor during patient exams as needed.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock exam rooms between patients.
• Support front office operations when needed (filing, faxing, scanning, transcribing, etc.).
• Provide outstanding customer service and patient support.
• Ensure compliance with office procedures and healthcare standards.
