Novant Health is seeking a food service team member to support production for patients, the cafeteria, and catered events. You will work under supervision with a focus on accuracy, safety, and timely service.

The role requires preparation, portioning, and maintenance of clean workspaces, with emphasis on teamwork, compassion, and patient satisfaction. High school diploma or GED is preferred, plus vocational training in food production and prior food service experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Vocational training in food production preferred.
• Two years of experience in restaurant or institutional food service preferred.

Responsabilités

• Meet or exceed established Standards of Performance daily.
• Prepare assigned menu items according to forecasts and recipes.
• Wash, prep, and slice meats and vegetables using standard equipment.
• Combine ingredients and cook hot or cold foods using ovens, fryers, and refrigerators.
• Portion items according to recipes and production sheets.
• Clean machinery and work area according to cleaning schedules.
• Store food items and cleaning chemicals per department procedures.
• Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations and teamwork.
• Maintain and promote customer satisfaction.
• Maintain attendance per company policy.
• Demonstrate ownership, teamwork, communication, and compassion.
