Job summary

Responsibilities include reviewing remittance advice, identifying primary insurance liability, and maintaining accurate notes in the patient accounting system while adhering to hospital policy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, billing, coding and accounting strongly preferred.
• Insurance, Medicare and Medicaid billing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and submit claims to third party payers from patient accounting system.
• Perform collection and follow-up on outstanding AR balances in accordance with policies and procedures.
