Newberry Health in Newberry County, SC is seeking a full-time Patient Financial Services Account Representative I to join our team.

This role analyzes accounts receivable, follows up with payers and patients, resolves unpaid claims, and ensures payment in accordance with payer contracts while adhering to billing laws.

Collaborate with hospital departments, physicians, and staff to secure timely payments and maintain accurate accounts.

Qualifikationen

• Associates Degree or higher or High School Diploma with two (2) years or more of revenue cycle experience.
• Successful completion of basic medical terminology course work.
• Proven knowledge of Microsoft products to include; Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Versatile and flexible, willing to work within changing priorities.
• Prior experience with the Meditech BAR system.
• HFMA CPAR certification.
