Responsibilities

1. Monitor and collect the financial responsibilities of patients.
2. Keep patients’ insurance benefits up to date in OncoEMR and Centricity, and review services for diagnosis and insurance coverage appropriateness.
3. Perform daily tasks of Managed Care and Patient Financial Navigation.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Experience in healthcare, preferably in a clinical setting or business office.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Knowledge of medical terminology, managed care authorization, ICD10 codes, and collection processes.
5. Ability to calculate and collect patient responsibilities and insurance co-pays/coinsurance.

Screenings

Background, drug, and nicotine screens are required. All offers are contingent upon clear screening results. Vaccinations, including influenza, are required unless exempted. FCS is a drug-free workplace; drug/nicotine testing is mandatory. Medical Marijuana cards are not recognized.
