Job summary

Savista is hiring Eligibility Specialists to assist patients with navigating financial assistance programs and removing barriers to care. You’ll guide Medicaid, Medicare, disability, and charity care applications, acting as a compassionate advocate while maintaining accurate records.

Role is onsite at Prime locations with virtual interviews for selected candidates. If you have customer service experience and a desire to help patients, we’d love to connect with you.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in a customer-facing role; healthcare/financial counseling preferred.
• Proficiency in English; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient advocate to assess eligibility for financial assistance programs.
• Engage patients via phone to support screenings and documentation.
• Guide applications for Medicaid, Medicare, disability, and charity care.
• Explain financial responsibilities and available assistance options.
• Collaborate with patients, hospital staff, and agencies to resolve eligibility issues.
• Manage a high caseload with deadlines, productivity and quality
• Maintain confidential patient records in HIPAA-compliant systems.
• Document, track, and report patient information using multiple systems.
• Provide coverage at nearby locations as needed.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
