Responsibilities

• Receives/processes Financial Assistance Program (FAP) requests per LVHN policy.
• Documents patient accounts with supporting details for financial assistance and responsibility.
• Maintains knowledge of federal guidelines to determine patient eligibility for FAP.
• Screens designated patients for Medical Assistance prior to FAP approval.
• Determines patient responsibility and communicates financial options clearly to patients.
