Qualifications

• Required: 2+ years in healthcare reimbursement with focus on copay and foundation research, verification, billing and collection functions.

• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and complete assigned projects.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research financial assistance opportunities (copay programs, foundations, grants) for eligible patients.
• Assess eligibility based on insurance, diagnosis, income, and program criteria.
• Complete, submit, and track financial assistance applications within deadlines.
• Communicate with patients, providers, manufacturers, foundations, and payers to obtain required documentation.
• Monitor availability of programs and renewals to maximize opportunities.
• Verify benefits and review patient financial responsibility to identify affordability solutions.
• Maintain thorough documentation of interactions, applications, approvals, denials, and funding outcomes.
• Follow up on pending applications and appeals to ensure timely resolutions.
